“The Club” at 12 Bird Street, Port Elizabeth, welcomes our members, and also the public, to visit and enjoy the Club’s facilities, which include a bar and restaurant, as well as function rooms.
Bar
It is here that old friendships are nurtured and new friendships are made in an atmosphere of relaxed social interaction. The ambiance of the original bar with its wood paneling and ingle-nook is reminiscent of its early beginnings in the Victorian era and can be most inviting for a pre-dinner drink, especially when there is a fire in the grate on a cold evening.
Restaurant
The restaurant is the epitome of gracious dining and the attentive staff gives pleasant and expert service at all times. The restaurant serves breakfasts and the lunch menu varies from day to day with delectable choices to suit all tastes. The Club is well known for the family lunches which it serves on Sundays.
Wedding & Function Venue
The restaurant area doubles up to cater for functions such as weddings, birthdays and cocktail parties, whilst there is a facility for smaller functions such as board meetings and intimate dinner parties in the President’s Room.

Happy Hour & Joker Draw
Join us for Happy Hour and the Joker Draw on Wednesdays. Happy Hour applies between 17:00 and 18:00. The Joker Draw takes place at 18:15. Complimentary snacks will be served.
